Hi Diane
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful surprise :) Thanks sooooooooooooo much for including my Avocado-Brioche in your post.
I very honored :)
You are very welcomed.
DeleteI love the idea of your weekly menu plan. I try to do this all the time but I end up changing my mind about what sounds good later in the week. It is always a good thought!
ReplyDeleteIt's great you shop more efficiently and you can always switch meals around because you have all of the ingredients on hand.
DeleteGreat info! Unfortunately, we don't have avocado here in Pakistan! These recipes look great!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy avacados. Some other ways that I like to prepare them are to use them in hot sandwiches and to make guacamole to use in place of salad dressings on a salad. When using them on a hot sandwich, I like to place a couple of slices of cheese, usually munster or swiss, of the bread and then add sliced avacados. I then drizzle either honey or honey mustard dressing on top of the avacados and then cook the sandwich on a griddle.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting about avacados. Also, I changed the name of my blog this week. I am no longer Jam's Corner. I am now This Gal Cooks. I linked a few recipes to your party last week and the links might not work since I changed my domain name. Going forward, my new web address is www.thisgalcooks.com
I hope you have a fabulous afternoon. I really enjoy reading your blog. :)
Julie
Great suggestions for avocados... I really love eating them too. I don't recall having any problem getting to your website. I like the new name and I also enjoy your blog. thanks for stopping by.
DeleteThank you Diane for including my chocolate avocado fudge! All of those recipes look fabulous! I will definitely have to try using them as an egg substitute sometime too.
ReplyDeleteIf you do let me know how it works out.
ReplyDeleteThank you for including my shrimp dish. While I enjoy avocados, I've never had the courage to branch out beyond typical uses. That fudge pop and fudge (see a theme?) have me interested.
ReplyDeleteI have done well with the avocado website and made some delicious dishes. You inspire me to make more.
ReplyDeleteI will probably not be linking up until the Jewish holidays are over in mid October. I plan to return with some good dishes that I hope to make for the holidays.
So glad you were inspired. We I worked at a Yeshiva I loved eating outside during Sukkot. Enjoy the holidays. See you soon.
