Chocolate Raspberry Cake: Kallari Chocolate is Making Chips! #Healthy Eating #Weekly Menu Plan

Chocolate Raspberry Cake: Simple Living and Eating

Product was provided by Sponsor opinions are my own.

When a chocolate company asks you to review their product can YOU possibly say, "No?" Well Kallari is not just any chocolate company they are a chocolate company with a conscious... and a super high quality product.

Chocolate Raspberry Cake: Simple LIving and Eating

The fresh taste of the cacao beans remains in the chocolate, unlike chocolate processed thousands of miles from the source. Kallari uses organic heirloom cacao, gourmet recipes (no emulsifiers, artificial flavors and half the sugar), and minimal processing to provide a chocolate experience unique from other chocolate chips for baking.

Other chocolatiers may pay a living wage but Kallari pays their workers an income higher than the minimum wage of other similar companies in Ecuador.

My family and I really enjoyed this Chocolate Raspberry Cake recipe along with many others on their website. The exceptional quality of Kallari's chocolate really made this loaf cake extra special, the addition of raspberry greek yogurt and a raspberry glaze added a wonderfully sweet and seasonal contrast to the chocolate. In case Kallari doesn't get a chance to update their site before this post goes live. We baked the cake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. We also added 2 tablespoons of water and 3 tablespoons of confectionars sugar to the glaze to help it set.

It is really fantastic to work with a high quality product that you know is produced sustainably and with labor ethics.

Kallari are looking for environmentally conscious investors into expansion of their company into creating chips for baking. Please check out their webpage and their kickstart fund for more details.

    1. How awesome... you might want to contribute to their kickstart fundraiser so they can produce the chocolate chips. I gave to them because I also like the quality of their product and their treatment of their workers.
